The newest addition to the EPL Digital Library is TumbleBooks (opens in a new tab), a wide-ranging resource of books for children of all ages.
Unlike some other resources, TumbleBooks items do not need to be checked out or held, they’re all available immediately and are available on any device, no downloads or apps necessary.
TumbleBooks is multiple services including:
TumblebookLibrary (opens in a new tab): Thousands of books for K-6 and early readers, includes:
- “Story Books”: Animated books that read aloud with moving pictures.
- “Read alongs”: Read alongs that also read aloud but are more focused on learning reading skills, focusing on the words on the page.
- Graphic novels, including Geronimo Stilton
- Many books include optional quizzes to test reading comprehension.
- National Geographic videos (Nature and science)
- Spanish and French language learning books
